If you want to become a teacher at Osteon and you have no prior teaching experience, you start as an assistant. Osteon has an impressive teaching staff with years of experience both in osteopathy and didactics, providing you with optimal tutoring, based on personal talents. At Osteon, teachers are put in their talent, each teacher teaches a course where she or he is at its best, making your training the best.

A year at Osteon has 120 teaching blocks, so 480 teaching blocks over 4 years, plus the apprenticeship, dissection courses, exams …

 

  • Take control over your theory learning process, watch your theory online recorded classes when you want and how many times you want. You have access to the online materials of the previous years, and you have always access to the newest recordings: if you watch in 2025-26 a recording of year 1 while you are in year 4, you see the recording in year 1 of 2025-26 and not a recording that is 3 years outdated.

  • Time investment: You have an intense education of 4 years with minimal leaf in your clinic during study and after 4 years you start to work as an osteopath, earning an osteopathic income.

You experience a 4-day practical teaching weekend: breathe and live osteopathy in consecutive days. Not every classroom has 4 walls, discuss, and reflect without time borders in the inspiring setting of a bonfire or fireplace.
    • With nature:
      • At Osteon, osteopathy is taught in nature, where it belongs: away from traffic jams, looking for a parking spot, … Break the rat-race and be submersed in nature. Focus is the new IQ. Osteon provides you a setting to develop optimal focus management: from de-focus to focus and back. Achieve ownership of your own learning process, come, and grow.
      • Healthy habits: Raeren inspires visitors with its nature, its breathtaking landscapes between the Eifel and the Ardennes, whilst offering countless possibilities to experience them closely. As well as the unique landscape, there are lots of destinations and attractions to discover during your stay. Go for a hike in nature before or after class, bring your bike and enjoy the 850 km of trail paths. Raeren is direct at the famous Vennbahn, a 125km green path for cycling. Check in with yourself.

      • Come to your course location to practice techniques and to study there if you want. Step away from the distractions you have at home and combine nature activities with studying and achieve superb learning efficiency.   • Osteon combines efficient didactics, eg, peer assisted learning and osteopathic patient contacts from your first year of education to your last. Experience the expansion of your role in PAL during the patient contacts at Osteon: each of the 4 practical course weekends there is half a day of treating real patients in small groups, with a trained clinical tutor per group. Grow in your comfort zone and expand it at your own phase.

  • Apprenticeship at multiple locations and high variety, offering you the best tutoring in environments that trigger your growth and widen your comfort zone.

  • Hands With Heart missions (to eg. Bali, Costa Rica, Argentina, and Ukraine) for Osteon groups on request, open to your suggestions. During the first practical weekend we explain the missions and plan a mission with Osteon, based on your preferences of time and location.

  • Alumni project where alumni have the option to subscribe for a low fee to keep access to the yearly recorded online courses and can participate in the practical courses at Osteon or one of the connected educations.
